2019-04-23 ··· Nadine Muller
War Widows’ Stories is an online database project which attempts to give an outlet to those effected by the horrors of war through interviewing war widows and the children of war widows. Most of the testimonies documented by War Widows’ Stories relate to experiences during the Second World War, War, however, there are stories that relate to other wars, such as; the First World War, the Korea War, and the 2003 North Arabian Gulf War. This project is led by Dr. Nadine Muller, and the War Widows’ Association of Great Britain, and is funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council, the British Academy, Arts Council England, the Heritage Lottery Fund, and Liverpool John Moore University.
