“Mapping Decadence: Visualizing Relationships between Writers and Publishers” hosts a digital mapping project, created by Hélène Huet. The project utilizes ArcGIS technology to plot the homes of four 19th century French authors from the decadence literary movement, alongside the addresses of their businesses and publishers, to illustrate the role the authors’ social and spatial relationships had in facilitating their professional collaborations. The website contextualizes the data presented in the “Mapping Decadence” ArcGIS project.
